True Hire provides background checks and other human resource services to companies and organizations throughout the country. It’s our goal to report accurate, in-depth information to our clients. As an applicant, we understand you may have some questions or concerns. The information below should help.
As an applicant you should have received copies of these forms or a link to them from your potential employer. If you have not we suggest you contact the company.
We may reach to verify information that you provided in the background authorization form, including, but not limited to the following:
a. Social security number
b. Spelling of your name
c. Date of birth
d. Driver’s license number
e. Request for additional references
TRUE HIRE DOES NOT MAKE HIRING DECISIONS. If you are questioning a company’s decision not to hire you, you need to contact that company. True Hire is a third-party provider of background checks and is only responsible for reporting accurate records to our clients. You should only contact True Hire to dispute any possible inaccuracies in records that were reported.

- If you’ve already received a copy of your background check and want to dispute information we included in your report, please click below to start the process. It will take you to our easy-to-complete form (via RightSignature). Just a heads up, have a copy or picture of your driver’s license or state issued ID and your social security card on the device you are completing the forms with. We need these items to verify who you are. Also, if available, we’ll need copies of any supporting documentation relating to your dispute. (ex: court documents)

In order to dispute information on your credit report, please contact the credit bureaus directly. True Hire cannot change information on your credit report.
